Thank you for collecting the information in a single place, it works on my DELL laptop also Glad this guide helped you. I've seen in other places where users ask questions on how to do this or that and I decided put all of that information here. Any other discoveries, suggestions, are always welcome. Remember the line 'Once you go Mac, you never go back?' I've have not dual booted to Windows 8 ever since I did all of the things in this guide lol. There are more problems in native Windows than in a hacked OS X. Hello, For what OS version will these driver be working?

I got the arrandale / intel integrated / Radeon HD5000 (ATI Madison) in my HP dv7-4177 and would like mountain lion on it. Install disk don't even boot.

What's possible to do? I used myhack to put the retail install on a usb stick. Thanks for any help, maybe just a link, one of you propably felt onto a 'local apic KP' as i do, whatever the parameter i enter on chameleon? Thanks to save me time, i suspect some myhack parameters to be able to solve my problem, but i don't find which!

Thanks for this. Now got a semi working system TM2 with i5 430 cpu. Do anyone know how to get the HDMI port working? The only way I can think of is by editing DSDT.aml that's if you can get the right set of numbers which enables hdmi. Hdmi and vga should be enabled through appleintelhdgraphicsFB.kext since that doesn't work. There is 2 options one is for a group of developers to work on another module which enables that just like how resolution was enabled. Or through editing DSDT.

For me i'm done with intelhdgraphics. Because last night in a process of fixing my laptop's power jack something went wrong and a power surge burnt my motherboard.

So my intelhdgraphic adventure time is over. Hope u guys have more success. 65 Online: Yes It seems as if the card isn't being properly detected at all including the graphics memory. I don't know the specs on the graphics cards memory or if this is the way it is for is for all of us. If someone could please have a look and give me a hand. Launchpad will lag even if we have Core Image.

This is because Quartz Extreme is not enabled. QE is used to smooth out the animations. Think of Core Image as the bread of the cake and Quartz Extreme as the icing on the cake. As of now there isn't a solution to enable it. However it's better than nothing. As for your unrecognized graphics chip, you will probably need to inject that infromation to the DSDT.

I don't really have time to write out how to do it but I will later on in the future and add it in this guide. Of course there are threads and tutorials around the Insanelymac community to get you started.

Actualy, i thought someone had already discovered this, hence i never posted about it,. To go a step further if you add the hdframebuffer kext you will get a blackscreen or even grey depending on which AAPP-OS-INFO you use.I just used natit.kext to inject mine Upon connecting via vnc you will realize that there is qe/ci, well to be more precise translucent menu bar. But the problem is getting it to output to the internal LCD. To be very clear,if you add the kext i have attached i'm 90% sure you will get a black/grey screen with backlight or even a kernel panic. You will only be able to access you desktop via VNC, meaning you will have to enable screen sharing in advance, and know your ip adress.

In order for you to access you desktop via another machine with VNC client. Side Note If i boot from bios with an external display hooked up to vga it will result in an immediate restart after the frambuffer kext loads. However if i plug in the external screen after the bootloader has loaded i get a fuzzy somewhat unusable screen. Hi Ghostraider can you upload your ioreg file. I need find right 'AAPL,os-info' I don't know how to find 'AAPL,os-info' for our card thankyou. To find AAPL,os-info and other information you need to install and load the Intel HD Graphics Framebuffer. You will need to enable Screen Sharing and then use a VNC client on another computer as the display will become black.

From there open IOReg and everything will be there in GFX0@2 or something similar to that.Values may be different on your hackintosh. Only problem with the aapl-os-info loaded by frambuffer, is i beleive its the default one loaded,by the driver and not the one necessarily corresponding with our board layout. Have you tried to modify it to see if there are any changes? I read somewhere in the forum, I believe it was CharredPC that said that adding the APPL, DualDisplay patch might make the display work.

I haven't personally tried it but someone else has reported getting 4 screen effect. As we all know the screen turns black if FB is loaded. One of the interesting things is that the FB correctly identifies the internal LCD model. DISM is your friend! Part 1: (For all the computers that don't have UEFI) Prepare two USB keys, one with El Capitan & one with Windows 10. First put the Windows USB, during the installation (when it asked the Windows code) press shift + f10 and will open the command prompt: diskpart list disk (list of your hdd) select disk 0 (0 is number of your hdd) clean (ATTENTION clean all your hard disk selected) convert gpt create partition efi size=200 (creates EFI partition) format fs=fat32 label=EFI We made a EFI partition. In my Hdd I have 3 partitions ( 1 for Mac, 1 for Windows=Ntfs & 1 in exFat for sharing files between the two systems).

Create partition primary size=100000 (1 partition for Mac OS X 100GB) format fs=fat32 quick label=Mac (after we will format in HFS+ with disk utility) create partition msr size=128 (creates Microsoft Reserved) create partition primary size=100000 (1 partition for Windows 10 100GB) format fs=ntfs quick label=Windows (format in Ntfs) create partition primary (creates a partition with the remaining space) format fs=exfat quick label=Hdd (format in exFat) Now the fun part. We should insert the letters for the partitions. Check select disk 0 list volume (check the assigned letters, REMINDS the letter assigned to the USB 'example d') list partition (check the number of partition EFI 'example partition 1') select partition 1 assign letter=h list partition (check the number of partition Windows 'example partition 3') select partition 3 assign letter=g exit Then we have the letter 'D: ' for the USB, 'H: ' for the EFI partition & 'G: ' for the Windows partition.

Now we need to copy the installation files from the USB to the Windows partition. Cd windows system32 dism /apply-image /imagefile:d: sources install.wim /index:1 /applydir:g: Break. Now we need the Windows EFI boot files. Cd g: bcdboot (check the command line) bcdboot g: windows /1 en-us /s h: /f UEFI (in my case '/1 It-it') Restart the computer with the Mac USB 'Clover bootloader', then select Microsoft EFI and start the installation of Windows 10 in FULL GPT. If you don't see the exFat partition in Windows don't worry. (Take a program like Partition Wizard, format the partition in NTFS and assigns the letter D:. Now open the command prompt administrator and write: diskpart select disk 0 list partition (check the partition before-exFat = after-NTFS 'example partition 4') select partition 4 format fs=exfat quick label=Hdd Now you must have the partition exfat visible and writable) Part 2: Important!

Don't format or delete the EFI partition. From the Mac USB we need delete AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext. Now we go in to the installation of El Capitan, with disk utility format the partition 'Mac' in HFS+ mac journaled, then install Mac OS X. While starting El Capitan from your hard drive, we must block AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext and AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext. (& add cpus=1 or patch with clover) When El Capitan is started: Patch AICPM with Clover Configurator Install Clover like this (of course without installation El Capitan) 'Legacy mode' Replace the config.plist in EFI partition and add SMBIOS with clover configurator - macbook pro 6.1 Put the DSDT Put HFSPlus.efi, NTFS.efi in drivers64 folder Insert and replace all kext PS:During the first system start we must go in the system preferences, keyboard, shortcuts and change the key combination of brightness (f2- f3+). Work: Intel Core i5 460M Intel HD Graphics (Clean graphics without artifacts) Wifi & Ethernet (Atheros AR9285 & Realtek 8111) Stereo speakers & Microphone (IDT92HD81B1X5) Keyboard & multi-touch touchpad Memory Card Reader Camera All USB Battery Sleep & Wake Brightness Values App Store Don't work: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (Blocked by BIOS) FaceTime (With Rom,SN,MLB valid work) iMessage (With Rom,SN,MLB valid work) Maps Thanks: GhostRider - pokenguyen - Mirone & Micky1979 - RehabMan HP El Cpitan.zip. Good day, I'm trying to install OSX El Capitan on my laptop all the time.

I have a laptop with a Intel CORE i5 430M Arrandale CPU and first generation Intel HD Graphics. The problem is the graphics card. I have deleted the kext for the graphics card to install El Capitan. After installing it boots also without error messages, but then comes a graphic error.

The graphics error was already before I had deleted the Kext before installing. The graphics error should not come, however, if I had deleted the kext?

I can install OSX successfully, but when booting comes a graphic error. I have also searched the Internet for solutions.

The solutions I had found only work after a successful boot. I have tried it with other graphics kext, but without success.

I also have no other computer with OSX. Best regards. GUIDE 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI.
